Cuban cigars were first made popular by the early European explorers who brought it from the Americas (known today as the island of Cuba). It was Cuban where they first found tobacco in general and it was all on a journey while looking for India. When the settlers found native people their, they called them ‘Indians’ as they thought they might have arrived in India.

Tobacco today is just as profitable as ever and tobacco companies make more money every year only second to the Oil industry. After all, the government makes billions of dollars in just taxes from giant tobacco companies. The Cuban tobacco is one of the top money makers for the Cuban government too. This discovery you can say has been a very healthy income generator for most of the western civilization.

Cuban cigars today come in various shapes and sizes. If their is a particular size or shape you like, most likely you will find it. Of course as long as its in a cylinder shaped form. Some of the sizes are the Robusto, the torpedo, the Churchill (Comes from Winston Churchill as a Cuban cigar inspiration) and several others.

Cuban cigars have come a long way and they still have a long way to go. I expect more cigar models as Havana usually releases them and they are simply amazing. I’m not sure if they will release another brand but if they do, I can guarantee it will cause an explosion within the industry. Don’t you know what Cohiba did?
