Tampa, Florida Closet Organizers Help Couples despite New Survey

In a random research study of 620 nationwide participants, the makers of IKEA, the leading home furnishing retailer, undertook a survey called “You Can Never be too Organized”.

There are many interesting trends found in this survey, with the main divide being between men and women. Something that surprised researchers was that couples who had Tampa closet organization systems tended to argue three times more per month than those couples who did not have closet organizers.

Other things that differentiated between men and women in the organization department, were such things as shoe racks, spice racks, compact disc organizers, Palm Pilot’s and iPhones and organizing home offices and color coding linen closets.

The survey revealed that women with shoe racks were seven times more likely to be on time for work than women without shoe racks.  Women were four times more likely to organize their compact discs by genre and 32% of women surveyed said they alphabetized their CD collections.

Tampa, Florida closet organizers are not the root of all evil for couples who argue, married men were four times more likely to leave their pajamas on the floor than single men. This leading to that all encompassing argument that starts with “I am not your mother or your maid”.

Men who owned spice racks were three times more likely to cook supper than those men who do not own a spice rack.

Women who color coded their linen closets reported spending more time with their friends, because they also own closet organizers and could find the perfect beach dress, than those women who did not color code their linen or other closets.

The difference between men and women became clear when men reported spending an average of an hour and 20 minutes per week looking for the remote control compared with women who only spent an average of seven minutes per week searching for their remotes.

Men and women approach being organized differently and for different reasons.  Women see being organized as a way to help out in different parts of their lives and to save them time; while men see being organized as a shortcut to what they need or want.
