Candle Stores are Now Stand Alone Stores, No Candles next to the Tire Department

It used to be if a person wanted to purchase a candle, they would have to go to a regular store such as Wal-mart or Target and find the candles in the home décor section of the store and there wasn’t that many to choose from. Today there are specially designed candle stores that contain candles and everything one would need to make their room or rooms in their home smelling sweet or flowery and inviting to guests and those that live there.

Candle stores typically have a wide variety of candles, candle plates and candle holders in addition to other gift items such as decorative plates, wall art, sconces, and large votives for hanging on the wall, porcelain or ceramic figurines and maybe floral arrangements. It would be hard for a store to maintain a money making business as a candle store alone but a gift and candle stores combined would help earn the owner more income.

One of the biggest advancements in candles is the scented wax which when burned gives off a pleasant scent in different flavors of fruits, flowers and candies that fill the air and scents with pleasure, helping people to relax and enjoy their surroundings more.

Some of the more popular scents include chocolate, strawberries, birthday cake, pomegranate, blueberries, blackberries, grape, cinnamon, sugar cookies, Christmas pine, vanilla, pumpkin, gingerbread, spice cookies or bubble gum just to name a few. There are hundreds of combinations of scented candles to choose from for a wonderful smelling house or as a gift to a friend or loved one.

These candles could be gifts for a house warming present, birthday present, anniversary present, teachers present, babysitter present, ‘just because present’ or secretary’s gift.

Candles at a candle store could be made from a variety of waxes; some made of bees wax others of soy wax and others of the traditional paraffin waxes. The soy and bee’s wax are the safest and cleanest burning waxes made for candles and help to make the planet a better place.
